The interests of the members of the Discrete Mathematics and its Applications research group range from pure mathematics through to cryptography. The group has strong links with the Graph Theory and Algorithms group in the computer science department, and works closely with (and has many members in common with) the Information Security Group. Many of the talks in the Pure mathematics seminar (held weekly during term time) are on topics of interest to the members of the group.
Here is a list of the current group members.

Postdocs/Postgraduates
Part of the discrete mathematics group is a lively postgraduate community. In addition to the regular meetings with their supervisors, postgraduates organise a weekly PhD seminar, take part in reading groups for students and academic staff and participate in conferences and workshops.
