Exploring Mathematics 2010

The Exploring Mathematics course is aimed at students taking A-level Mathematics or an equivalent qualification, especially those that consider studying mathematics at University. We hope to increase the students' enjoyment and understanding by illustrating the beauty and power of mathematics.

The event takes place on Wednesday 23rd June 2010.

(Invitation letters were sent out to schools, the event is now fully booked. We apologize that we cannot accept further requests).

The detailed programme will be announced when it becomes available. The programme will be similar to last year's programme.

1) Science writer and BBC presenter Dr Simon Singh:

Maths, risk, probability and gambling
