All suitably qualified applicants are invited to an interview. This provides applicants with an opportunity to spend a half-day visiting the College and the Department, to meet and question staff and current students, and explore the campus and facilities. Candidates who are unable to attend are made an offer on the basis of their UCAS form. We welcome applications from international students and mature students.

Entry requirements
We normally require three passes at A-level with grade A in Mathematics but individual circumstances are taken into account. Although we do not require Further Mathematics, we view a good grade in AS-level or A2-level Further Mathematics as a strong asset in an application, which might in some circumstances compensate for a weaker performance in a non-mathematical subject. We welcome applications based on other qualifications.
Typical Offers
UCAS Tariff: 340 points from 3 A-levels with an A in A-level Mathematics
A-Level: AAB with an A in A-level Mathematics
International Baccalaureate: 35 points
Scottish Certificate of Education: AAABB (together with A in Mathematics at Advanced Higher Level)
Irish Leaving Certificate: AAABBB
Applicants to the College come from a diverse range of backgrounds and we accept a broad range of qualifications.
