The close relationship between Mathematics and Physics makes this a particularly natural combination. The first year programme is fixed and you can then choose courses which weight the degree in either direction as desired. The programme provides a logical scientific training which can lead to further study of mathematical physics, or to careers in industry, government service or teaching.

Structure of the course
The courses are organized on a unit system. All lecture courses in Mathematics and Physics are valued at half a course unit, and students normally take 4 course units (i.e., 8 half-units) per year.
