The close relationship between Mathematics and Physics makes this a particularly natural combination. This programme allows you to develop an advanced understanding of how mathematics can describe and predict the physical universe, and a wide range of transferable skills. It is aimed primarily at those who will continue to use mathematics and physics at a high level after graduation, for example in research or industry.

Structure of the course
The courses are organized on a unit system. All lecture courses in Mathematics and Physics except the final year project are valued at half a course unit, and students normally take 4 course units (i.e., 8 half-units) per year.
